Dana Moreshead

Dana Moreshead has over 19 years of practical business development experience that bridges every aspect of branding, advertising and promotions. A graduate of Pratt Institute with a BFA in Communication Design, Dana began his professional career as an Art Director at Marvel Entertainment in New York ending celebrated 9 year his tenure there as the Executive Director, Creative Services & Special Projects. Dana went on to be come the Vice President of Creative Services and Brand Management at Stan Lee Media; then the Head of Project Development at StatCard Entertainment. He is currently a Senior Partner / Creative Director at Fishbrain where he focuses his energies on both the creative and business development aspects of brand building, consumer products, and corporate identity expansion.

Dana has launched corporate identities, staffed and managed a number of creative departments; spearheaded advertising programs by creating materials for print, broadcast, POP, and viral marketing efforts; assisted in the acquisition and sale of intellectual properties; crafted business plans, investor relation packages as well as developed corporate and IP branding platforms. In the world of merchandising and licensing, he oversaw the global initialization of several consumer product lines and participated contract and product development of all licensed categories.

There are three sterling examples of Dana’s associative abilities. For Marvel he was one of six people who re-launched the companies licensing efforts and within three years Marvel saw unprecedented growth as domestic revenues in that department went from 1 million annually to 74 million. At Stan Lee Media, working with the founder and COO, Moreshead helped to launch the web production and marketing company to obtain an initial market capitalization in excess of $300 million. Dana was nominated for a prestigious Key Art Award, the result of their three-year creative collaboration with Sony Pictures in the development of promotional materials for their film divisions.

Dana’s ongoing success as an executive can be linked to his ability to combine creative vision with practical business acumen, and his ability to generate enthusiasm for any manner of project. And most importantly, he loves the work.
